Safeguarding of Airspace in & around the Civil Aerodromes

Before applying for NOC, you may check approximate top elevation (AMSL) of the purposed structure. You shall have the co-ordinates of your plot or alternatively you can choose your site on the map. This will not be a NOC, but only the indication of the approx. Top Elevation. For NOC, you shall apply online.

NOC from AAI is not required for a structure below the CCZM height. Local Bodies can approve the building plan without NOC. CCZM of major airports have been issued to the public and the Local Bodies / Municipal Corporations.Areas beyond CCZM :- For any Structure/Building falling outside CCZM (regulated) area and requesting height greater than or equal to 150m AGL, the application must be filed in NOCAS2 website.

The purposed structures so located, that NOC is not required from AAI, will be auto settled by the system. System gentarted letter, stating the reason of auto settle, will be issued.
Reason of Auto Settle:-
1. The location of the proposed structure is beyond 20KM from VFR airports or beyond 56 KM from the IFR airports and requested height of proposed structure is equal to or less than 150m above ground level(AGL).
2. For airports /cities where Colour Coded Zoning Map (CCZM) have been issued, the proposed structure top elevation (AMSL), is below the CCZM permitted top elevation. Permitted height of the structure = CCZM permitted top elevation - Site Elevation.
3. For the SACFA Mast upto 100m and beyond 20km from the Aerodrome Reference Point (ARP) of IFR airports or beyond 10km from VFR airports.
